OpenClaw ("the Software") is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. By using the Software, you agree that Lobster AI team shall not be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort or otherwise, arising from, out of or in connection with the Software or the use or other dealings in the Software.
2. Data Security & Access
The Software is designed to run securely in a cloud environment. However, you are solely responsible for the configuration, access controls, and data you choose to expose to the Software. If you grant the Software access to critical, sensitive, or private information (including but not limited to financial data, personal communications, or system credentials), you do so at your own risk.
We explicitly disclaim any liability for:
- Data leaks resulting from user misconfiguration.
- Unintended actions performed by the AI due to ambiguous prompts or errors.
- Financial loss or damage caused by automated actions (e.g., incorrect invoices, deleted files).
- Any consequences of "jailbreaking" or modifying the core safety protocols.
3. User Responsibility
You acknowledge that AI models can be unpredictable. You agree to supervise the Software's operation, especially in critical environments. If a user grants OpenClaw access to critical information and this backfires, it is not the responsibility of the Lobster AI team. We have built the deployment solution to be secure in the cloud, but ultimate responsibility for data access lies with the user.
